Who we are

Peppe: I am a freelance business developer, working full time in the digital field. I grew up in Naples watching Diego Armando Maradona weaving his magic in Napoli matches. I moved in London to study for my Honours degree in Multimedia and to get more work experience.
I love italian football and I am a great Napoli supporte!.

Tony: I am a web-designer living and working in Naples as a freelancer. At the moment I am studying for my Honours degree in Programming.

Footballitaliano.org is always interested in hearing from energetic journalists, with the drive and enthusiasm to succeed at the world’s fastest growing global football website.

We are always looking for motivated people to join our team of news, as well as amateurs with the ability to put their thoughts into words.

We value passion for the game of football and all that surrounds it combined with the ability to communicate it through writing.

You could form a part of our team of news writers, either full or part time, or just be an occasional contributor. We also believe in unity in diversity, and as an international site, welcome talented people from all over the world.

What are we looking for from you?

· 1) Fluent Eglish is a must, so we regret that we cannot accept articles that – although they may well be interesting – are poorly written.

· 2) You Follow Football on a Regular Basis, so you are up to date with the happenings, particularly in your favourite league.

· 3) The ability to write Informatively, and Objectively. There will be articles that allow for more creativity and team bias, but we encourage our staff to write about more than one team.

· 4) The ability to Submit articles on time, as we place great emphasis on punctuality. The Eletronic Media moves Fast.

So, if you are a budding journalist, or feel you have the potential to be one, send a mail to write@footballitaliano.org with one paragraph telling us about yourself, another about where your passion lies: which teams, leagues, areas etc. you would like to cover, and a third about the capacity in which you would like to start contributing.

If we feel your mail fits in with the philosophy outlined above, we will get back to you with suggestions on the way forward. In general, we believe in starting you off with a series of small assignments, see how you respond to them, and take it from there. Quite a few have started out as volunteers and gone on to become Footballitaliano.org journalists.
